Our little Kiwi-girl flew all the way to California from New Zealand in October of 2013.  Katrina watched from half a world away this little brindle girl bred by our good friend Helene Owen (Ronin Boxers) went from lovely puppy, to even better young adult.  Even as a puppy, Petra had wonderful bone and substance.  Helene's dogs are known for their wonderful shoulders and front assembly, and Petra's were some of the best we had seen (just like her sire).  When the opportunity came up to potentially bring her into our home, it was an easy decision.  We can't thank Helene enough for entrusting us with this wonderful girl.  She's not only structurally sound, she's full of personality.  She has been the perfect addition to our household, someone to keep Trucker on his toes, and wonderfully gentle with our girls.  She has grown so much and adjusted so quickly.  We couldn't imagine our family without those dark soul-searching eyes.
