IABCA International Champion Penny is the third to be born in her litter, Bridget (as she was known at the time) made it known from the start that she was going to be a handful. Marked very much like her mother (except w/ more flash between the eyes), she always had a devilish grin across her face and a tail that wagged 100miles an hour. She captured our hearts as a pup never missing an opportunity to be pet, or sit in a lap, or to get in your face and give you a kiss. She would bounce off the couches and run amoc and there was nothing you could do but laugh at her silly antics. She was last to leave our home, and at times it was hard to think that she would be leaving soon. She joined the Lopez family (Emily and Dave and their 2 young sons) down in Las Vegas and quickly became the apple of Emily's eye. She was renamed Penny, after the Beatles song "Penny Lane", and keeps the Lopez's on their toes. Emily had shown her previous boxer as a youngster and has hopes that Penny will someday attain her AKC Championship.

After spending a few months on the road with our handler, Penny came very close to taking the points many times, even going Major Reserve once, and pulled for the final 3 during the Blue Bonnet Boxer Club specialty. She's had many admirers on the road, and always showed her heart out, and we couldn't ask for a better attitude in a show dog. In November we decided to bring Penny home and allow her to mature some more before attempting the ring again. We feel she has a lot of very strong qualities, and along with her love of life, and superb attitude, we know she will continue to make us proud in the future with whatever she does.

*Flash* All grown up at 25mos, Penny is visiting Casa Soleil for a few months to be selectively shown by Katrina in the Bred-by Class, and to have her health testing completed as well. We're excited to have our "Mini-Nikki" here with us! She's matured nicely, and kept her happy-silly-puppy attitude.

*Flash* Penny's first shows with breeder/co-owner Katrina on the lead were the IABCA Golden State Fall Sieger. Penny not only earned her IABCA International Championship, she took 3 out of 4 BOB's, multiple Group Placements in both the Bred-by and regular Working Groups, and even a BBE Group 1!
