The day the puppies turned 6wks old, we took the opportunity to allow them to explore the great outdoors. With the help of some friends to wrangle any pups that go too far, all the babies had a blast romping and running on the grass and through the leaves. They weren't sure of the pokey stuff at first, but it did not take them long to realize how much fun it was. Each day they ask for more and more time out of their pen, as the time it takes to tire them out grows longer each day. Zuko especially makes it known that he is not ready for bed, and was actually caught scaling the ex-pen between bouts of crying/barking. (what a brat! but thankfully a very cute one) They thoroughly enjoy chasing eachother around, wrestling and playing tug-o-war. They all enjoy playing with Big Brother Brutus (1/2 brother, who is very tolerant and enjoys the time w/ the babies as well), and climbing all over their mom. Stacking is getting a little bit better each day, and hopefully by 8wks, they will be stacking like naturals. Here are a few clips shot during the week! Just a typical romp around for the pups.
