Maeby, Miss Hot Pants, is our Canadian baby, and we're lucky that she has found such a wonderful home with good friends Jen & Kris in Calgary, AB.  Maeby was a surprise to us, as all our doctors kept saying, Nikki will have 4.  After brother Brutus, we cleaned up, put fresh bedding down, and took turns showering (after a LONG night).  As I was getting out of the shower, Richard yelled from below that there was 1 more puppy and we needed more towels!  Low and behold, there laid Maeby squirming and and squeeking, with Nikki cleaning her.  Her squeeks turned to howls & barks, and her squrims turned to wiggles, and she just doesn't stop surprising you!  Maeby has a beautiful head piece, melt-your-heart expression, and great bone while still retaining her feminine qualities.  She's inherited her mom's spunk and fire, and when she's not tormenting her big brother Willis or keeping Jen and Kris on their toes, we think she'll be hard to miss in the ring!  Maeby made her debut at the BIGGEST boxer show around, the American Boxer Club Nationals in Kentucky last May. After a confusing plane ride, and a bit of fussing, Maeby showed her heart out as one of the few natural earred dogs at the show. She garned lots of attention having her ears taped down while ringside, and was a great ambassador the the "au natural" look. Watch for her to hit in Canadian ring in 2008! We are very excited for this girl's potential. 

Maeby's name comes from when Jen and Kris were trying to decide on a call name for her. Everytime someone suggested something, their response was, "Ooh, maybe?".... so it stuck!
