Previously known as "Zuko", Dexter comes from our very exciting breeding to Loki (BIS/BISS Ch. Capri's Woods End Spellcaster, SOM) and out of our girl Nikki. He was first to be born, and both Richard and I had a feeling from the moment he was born, that this guy was going to be something special. From the start, he was the busiest, most outspoken puppy of the bunch with tons of attitude, and moxy to spare. Though not the largest pup of the litter, there is no doubt he's thinks he's the biggest dog around. He talks back to you, and isn't shy about making his feelings known about any situation. We fell quickly in love with this guy, and had planned to keep him for ourselves. With each passing week, good friend Lena Bell of Rovers Boxers, came by and also was quickly taken by his personality. She convinced us to allow him to go home with her and live with her current girl Fia (UKC Ch. Jem's On a Natural Roll, RN) on the condition that Katrina gets to play "handler" too!

Lena has handled many dogs of multiple breeds in the past to their AKC Championships including GSD's, Newfies, a very succesful Dalmation & even a Tibetan Terrier. She also handled for famed Hawaiian boxer kennel Box M! Long before the standard was changed, Lena owner-handled Ch. Rover's Solo of Box M, CD, CGC to her AKC Championship, the 2nd ever Natural-Earred boxer in AKC history! Before moving back to Sweden for a few years, Lena also put 13pts (including both majors) on Solo's natural-earred son "Sven" (Rover's Bound for Sweden). Lena has big plans for Dex, and looks forward to hitting the Agility and Obedience rings too! We know she'll keep our outgoing boy, very busy, and that they will make a great team in all the venues they take on. We along with Lena look forward to what the future holds for Dex. He is already showing a ton of potential. With his beautiful head and expression, solid topline and tailset, and attitude that screams "look at me!", what is there not to love? Please stay tuned for updates on his bright future! Dex will be owner-handled by Lena and also breeder/owner-handled by Katrina.

Flash* Dexter's first fun show experience was at the SVBC 24th Annual B/OB Match, and FUN is the best word to describe it. Dex was a happy bouncy puppy, rarely staying still for more than a few moments. He was the only one in his class, but the judge had many great things to say about our promising young guy! The following Sunday, Dex along w/ his sister Jenga popped onto the scene at the IABCA Golden State Fall Sieger. Dexter again had a ton of fun, and showed a lot of promise, with tons of attitude, and a beautiful head, short back and between the gallops and bouncing, some pretty nice reach and drive as well. He received SG-1 Ratings at both shows (the highest a puppy can earn), and Best Puppy in Breed over a 14mo old cropped bitch and Sister Jenga, and also Best Bred-By Puppy in Breed as well! Dexter went on to a BBE Puppy Group 2! See his pictures Pic1, Pic2, and Pic3. We couldn't have asked for a better home in Lena. She's done a great job thus far, and we see great things for him in the future! We are all VERY excited for our Little Dex-man!
